Accra: An earthquake, with a magnitude of 5.3, jolted the New Britain region, Papua New Guinea, at 2307 GMT on Sunday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
According to Nam News Network, the epicentre of the earthquake, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 5.66 degrees south latitude and 151.84 degrees east longitude.
